Interactional Patterns in ESP Online Teaching Mode at the Fifth Semester of English Education Study Program of Universitas Negeri Medan

This research aims to identify interactional patterns in the ESP online teaching mode of fifth semester English Department at Universitas Negeri Medan. applies descriptive quantitative methodology and focuses on class A Department's semester, which consisted 36 students one lecturer who taught utilizing Google Meet as platform. study's data three audiovisual recordings made by lecturer. The were recognized using IRF pattern interaction identification table analyzed model. first discovery revealed that most frequently used is a full pattern, followed IR semi-complete IF an incomplete pattern. second finding elicitation occurs more classroom interactions. It possible infer this had high level since provided equal opportunities for begin conversation, resulting active student participation.
